one scoop protein powder

Applesauce for 2

4 medium apples cored & quartered
2 Tablespoons lemon juice

Place all ingredients in the blender and blend well taking time to clean the sides occasionally.
Add cinnamon or sugar if desired
Yum!
Taken from the Vitamix the perfect recipe combination.
Ok so it's not a smoothie but it sure tasted good!

2 handfuls baby kale

1/2 cucumber
1-2 stalks celery
1 banana
1 handful spinach
Ice
Blend & enjoy!
This was a bit too green tasting but maybe I used too much cucumber?

Bob's Green Smoothie

Taken from the Vitamix recipe book
1 oz agave nectar
1 banana peeled
1-2 cups frozen pineapple
3 orange cuties
Bunch of spinach
Small bit of fresh ginger
1+ cup water
Ice
Blend well! This machine is so nice you put it on the smoothie mode and let it go! I'm spoiled now😙

Tortilla soup smoothie!

Ok so it's not really a smoothie but I had to try out my new Vitamix blender and it was dinner time! So this will have to suffice for today😉
Yes, it was delicious !
3 cups water and chicken bouillon
1 stick celery
1/2 onion
1 roma tomato
one clove of garlic
A thin slice of lemon with rind
Salt & pepper
A few Cilantro sprigs
1/4 red pepper

Add in 1/2 can black beans
1/3 can corn
Shredded chicken
Pieces of tortilla
If you used hot water it should be warm but might need to heat it quick
Top with avocado tomato & hot sauce
Yum!!

half cup parsley
and avocado

1 cup filtered water
